UHill Robotics Team scores in top ten in SkillsBC Competition

Three Grade 4-5 students from University Hill Elementary LEGO Robotics club were selected to compete in the annual BCIT Engineering Challenge held at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition in Abbotsford TradeX on April 13th, 2016.  The UHE Robotics competition team for 2016 was made up of Westley Peregoodoff-Marte (Gr 5), Kyoungjoo Chae (Gr 4)  and Kevin Liu (Gr 4).

We are proud to announce that this amazing team won 8th place out of 26 teams coming in the top ten for the competition, beating out several secondary school teams. Congratulations to Kevin, Kyoungjoo and Westley for their great team spirit and superb programming skills! Thanks also to Jorden Covert from UHE Library, Ana Golland from Daedalos Academy and all the parents for their amazing support on the competition day!
