Bethany Michel is returning to UHill on the evening of Thursday 25th May, 6pm – 7.30pm to give a talk on childhood anxiety for parents (and teachers).
Her talk is geared toward helping parents/teachers understand anxiety and offers specific techniques they can use to help children in their care.
Bethany is currently completing a PhD in clinical psychology at Harvard University. Her dissertation focuses on children’s beliefs about the malleability of their emotions and how this relates to depression, youth suicide and self-injury. Bethany has extensive research and clinical training in all of these areas.
