University Hill Elementary School Open House – Wednesday, February 11

Dear Parents,

University Hill Elementary School is holding an Open House on Wednesday, February 11, from 5:30-7:00 pm.

Kate Foreman-Ng (Grade 1 Teacher) is coordinating the communication for this event, and would like to call on our school families to help share this information as broadly within our community as possible. To this end, she is asking for volunteers to distribute posters and/or brochures to the following locations:

  • UBC daycares,
  • Berwicke preschool,
  • public libraries (West Point Grey and Dunbar),
  • community centres such as Dunbar and West Point Grey,
  • Acadia Commons Block,
  • the Old Barn,
  • the SUB,
  • the housing and administration offices at UBC, and
  • any other locations you can think of, such as other preschools, family daycares or office buildings.

If you have some time available to help, and/or if in your regular routine you are already in or near facilities where these posters/brochures could be shared, please call or leave a message at the front office (604 713 5350), indicating your interest to help. Please leave your name, phone number, email, the name of your child and his/her teacher, the locations where you could distribute the material and the quantity of posters/brochures you would like. Kate will arrange to send the material home with your child in an envelope.

This is an opportunity to welcome our community to our school Open House, support our teachers, and ensure that we continue to have a vibrant and robust school population for next year and the years to come.

It would be nice to get the information out as soon as possible.

Thank you as always for your support!

U-Hill Elementary PAC and Kate Foreman Ng
